Im a 13 year old female. I haven't had sex before. Only one of my breasts are hurting. There is a lump in my left nipple. It is not that noticible, but you can feel it. It is very sensitive. I have a little bump on my nipple. Is this normal? Do I have breast cancer? Please reply because I'm in pain and have no idea what to do!

Hi there!

Well, without a clinical evaluation it would be difficult to say; though a breast lump is unlikely to be cancer at the age of 13 and more likely to be one of the benign lesions. I would suggest getting this examined by your primary doctor; and after a diagnosis to the cause is made, a management plan can be decided upon accordingly.

Dont worry sweetheart...that is prettty normal to have lumps that are benign at your age but please go and have it looked at..take care.
