how to manage diarrhea via prescription or natural treatments
My mom had stage 4 cancer and is on her 2nd type of chemo. This one is giving her severe diarrhea and diet control isn't helping at all.
What drugs--prescription or natural can help her? She prefers this one since it's once a month, 3 hour IV (opposed to another one that will be 2ce a week) but she's getting to the point where she's losing so much weight she wants to stop ALL treatment.
Any help is appreciated. I read about lomotol but I wonder about the risks with it. Does it help at all?
What has her oncologist recommended? They really need to be the ones to help her with this decision. But don't let it continue because she will become dehydrated fast! They have an on call doctor.. I wouldn't wait. Really.
