invasive mammary cardinoma

My wifes current diagnosis borders on stage IV disease. A tru-cut biopsy  was consistent with invasive mammary carcinoma with intermediate to high nuclear grade.  How rare is this cancer and where is the best place in Oklahoma or Texas to have this treated?  Thanks , Ed Beasley

,Mrs. Beasley has been diagnosed with stage IIIC with supraclavicular lymph node positive left breast cancer; she initially self-palpated a left breast mass in July 2007. This was followed by diagnostic imaging, which revealed a 2.5 cm lesion at 11 o'clock as a well a 0.6 cm lesion in the tail of the left breast. The patient underwent a Tru-cut biopsy on 07/20/07, which was consistent with invasive mammary carcinoma with intermediate to high nuclear grade. ER/PR negative and HER-2/neu negative.

. Repeat diagnostic imaging was performed. A mammogram on 08/15/07 identified an irregular mass in the left breast at the 1 o'clock position with associated heterogeneous calcifications. Also noted was a 0.5 cm nodule in the left breast at 11 o'clock, possibly representing a satellite nodule. There are benign calcifications bilaterally. Ultrasound on 08/15/07 identifies the main tumor mass in the left 12 o'clock position measuring 3.2 x 2.3 x 1.5 cm. Just superior to the index lesion is a smaller satellite lesion measuring 1.1 x 0.6 x 1.1 cm. In the left axillary tail, there is a hypoechoic nodule measuring 0.8 x 0.6 x 0.5 cm, which is a lymph node and FNA identified metastatic carcinoma. There was a suspicious infraclavicular node as well as supraclavicular node for which was FNA was positive for metastatic carcinoma. Bone scan at that time was negative for evidence of metastatic disease. CT of the chest and abdomen were also negative for evidence of metastatic disease.

Hi.
What treatment procedures were performed on your wife?
Was mastectomy done?
It would be best to consult your wife's oncologist for further treatment.  
Perhaps surgery will be done followed by adjuvant systemic therapy and radiotherapy.
