How long a duration should my doctor prescribe zometa for my metastesized breast cancer.  She recently changed it from once a month to now 4 months?  I have been extremetly tired lately and my cbc has been okay, except for the MO levels

Hi.
You have breast cancer metastatic to the bone.
What is your latest serum calcium level?
Are you experiencing any bone pains?
Zometa is being given to patients with bone metastasis to control the disease as well as prevent progression.  This drug can also relieve bone pains.
