At your age the lump you mention could go away on it's own. They can be removed if they are a cause for concern but usually are just left alone. Do see your Physician though as anything new or different should be ck.d out. Regards .....
Thank you very much for your prompt response, I greatly appreciate it. After reading your response I really feel more at ease about my situation. I will definitely go to my doctor on Monday to have her check everything. What is the normal procedure Doctors usually take to eliminate the lump in the breast? Thank you once again and have a wonderful night. God Bless.
Hi there.
At your age, the most common cause of breast lumps such as what you have is benign changes such as fibroadenoma or fibrocystic disease. This represents an abnormal response of the breast tissues to hormonal stimulation or hormonal changes in the body. These fibroadenomas would usually vary in size in accordance with your menstrual cycle, but it is also not unusual for these lumps to stay and gradually enlarge.
Breast cancer is extremely rare at your age group, but I would still agree with you showing this to your doctor when you are able.
Regards and God bless.
