19 year old with stromal fibrosis

March 3 lump small pea size.  March 18 1/2 inch and March 25 larger and tender to touch. (removed)  This happened to our daughter, who askes no questions. The only word she heard was benign.  We were in waiting room.  She signed the heppa form for me to ask, but the doctors office just caled her with results.  So do I call them?  Am I or she to worry about more?  So young?

Hi,
Stromal fibrosis is a benign (non-cancerous) finding and not a risk factor for breast cancer. You could certainly call her doctor to get more information and advice concerning your daughter's report. When doing Breast self-examination (BSE) if your daughter finds a new breast lump,it should be followed up and evaluated.  This means being sure to bring it to the attention of her doctor who can evaluate the new lump and make recommendations.
Yes, your daughter is very young and as a mom you are of course concerned...but it's a good thing and a great relief that the lump was found to be BENIGN
Best wishes to both of you.
