1ST YR B/C Anniversary.

I just celebrated my 1st year anniversary of my B/C diagnosis. (I was celebrating finding it early. :-)) Should I be due for another bone scan, or PET Scan?? I was told to get an MRI in March, but should I be getting some more tests to compare to last years?

Hi,

A repeat bone scan is usually done at the decision of your oncologist or breast specialist depending on your symptoms and clinical examination.

It is important to schedule regular follow ups with your breast cancer specialist and also to report any abnormal symptoms to your doctor.

Talk to him about the bone scan and PET scan when you go for your MRI in march.
