I am 25 and very concerned about my risks for Breast Cancer.

My Maternal Grandmother was dx in her mid 60s on the left side.  She lived till she was 79 (died of other causes).
My Mom is just 54 and was just dx with Stage 2a on the right.

I have breastfeed my daughter now for 2.5 years just to lower my risks.  Should I continue to do so in efforts to lower it more?

Should I have a Mammo now or wait it out?

I don't believe you should breast feed your daughter longer than you ordinarily would ..... familial breast cancer only accounts for 5 to 10% of reported breast cancers. The most important thing is that you are vigilant and do monthly breast exams, start with screening mammograms at an earlier age that is usually recommended (40) and also have regular clinical breast exams by your Physician. You might consult your Dr. about when to start having mammograms; it's usually in the 30s but he/she would no doubt need to order the test. Regards ....
