Hi,
Usually Gynecomastia's condition occurs in adolescents and in some cases could recede with age,but as many as thirty percent may live with enlarged male breasts for the rest of their lives,no matter if they lose weight or use other remedies.
My advice to you, would be to ask your doctor for a blood test to see, first of all, if this condition is not caused by hormonal imbalance, medications,(Steroid,or perhaps illegal drugs) liver disease, testicular dysfunction or thyroid dysfunction to name a few. Each of these diseases need to be evaluated so medication can be used to fix this problem, but if everything is negative, then you could consult with a plastic surgeon to consider removing the affected tissue.I am not really aware of any home treatment available except a surgical option if all the blood tests return normal.
My friend's son,had surgery for this condition, when he was 28yrs old and this problem was perfectly fixed,he was really happy because he only had a very small scar that was barely visible after the incision was fully healed and looked great.
Best wishes...
