2nd Opinion?

My annual mammogram revealed a "dense" area that apparently was larger than appeared in last year's.  A follow-up ultrasound revealed nothing; then a spot compression was done.  The radiologist's report said "exam did not show any definite sign of cancer" with a recommendation of a follow-up in 6 months.  Does this mean there's an "indefinite" sign?  Do I need a 2nd opinion on this?

Dear bennyb:  From what I am reading, it sounds as though there is a density but not one that has "cancerous" characteristics.  You should certainly discuss this with your doctor and consider an opinion with a breast surgeon if you are not comfortable with the explanation and the recommendations.

Why not try an FNAC ? You may suggest it to your treating Doctor.
