3 months after breast cancer surgery wound not healing

I had surgery on 4 Aug to remove precancerous cells from my breast.  (This was after a large tumour was removed from the other breast, followed by chemo and radiotherapy.)  A haematoma developed and I had to go back to theatre again straight away.  Since then (almost 3 months) I have had to have the wound dressed 3 times per week and there is still a lot of frank pus which is negative on swabs for staph and MRSA.  My team tell me it is from the breakdown of fatty tissue.  At first the pus was just seeping out but now 3 holes have developed (about 0.5 cm in diam) that are quite deep.  They are being packed with a wick type dressing to wick out the pus but they seem to me to be getting significantly bigger.  I'm worried I'm going to lost the nipple if tissue keeps breaking down.
Can you suggest anything that I could ask the medical team to try?

I'm sorry you are having this complication after your surgery. Some infections are very hard to deal with and may take quite a long time to resolve themselves. It sounds as though you are receiving adequate medical care and treatment for this problem. I presume that you are on some type of antibiotic but other than that I can't think of anything that isn't already being done.  Kindest regards .....
