8 year old and breast lump

I have an 8 year old daughter who from birth always had a small lump on right breast.  About two years ago the doctor was a little concerned about it.  She measured it at 2cm and said lets just watch it.  Well we kept an eye on it and it seemed to stay about the same so we weren't to worried about it.  Today my daughter begain crying about pain in it so I looked at it and it is probably 4 1/2cm now and extremly painful when touched.  Is she too young for this to be breast cancer or should I be concerned.

I would go to your daughters DR. and demand an answer. If it's hurting her that much, then in my opinion, it doesnt belong there!! I have done alot of research on young woman@ breast Ca. I have NEVER heard of a child getting this disease that young. I was considered young at 27.Please let me know how everything turns out. god bless. Renee.
