A Lump and Swollen Lymph Nodes on Left Side

My Dr. found a lump on the left side of my left breast (deep) along with swollen lymph nodes on my neck, armpit and what feels like a swollen spleen on the left side. CBC's came back normal. Next Wednesday I will have 2 CT scans, mammogram and an ultra sound. Does anyone have a similar story with outcome?

Im in a similar situation. I recently found a lump in my left breast and a swollen lymph node behind my right ear. The lymph node grew so much, inflammed and painful.
Waiting on my biopsy results for the lump and then have to do a biopsy on the lymph node.
Good luck love.

Had mammogram and ultra sound done this morning. Radiologist is recommending to my PCP that I need to have a biopsy done on the mass found in my left breast. Very nervous!!!!

I'm glad you were able to get a diagnosis and the proper treatment. This mess is killing me and I worry that my results will come back inconclusive and I'll have to continue to suffer. Thank you so much for replying :)

This is how/why I went to Dr for my first diagnosis.  All lymph nodes on right swelled and ran low grade fever for 3 days.  Was busy, but then went week later, nodes then were back to normal but I showed lump I also noticed at same time as nodes swelling.  Mamm showed nothing, ultrasound showed layer of red below cyst.  The red was the cancer DCIS increased circulation contrasted against regular flesh.  This was also my first mammogram (49).  Which again showed nothing, it was the ultrasound that showed DCIS.  Offered lumpectomy w/ radiation or Mastectomy with no chemo/no radiation.  Took the Mastectomy w/ immediate reconstruction.  5 weeks postop today.  Do the tests, see what they say.  Stay in touch!  These friends will be the source of best help, support, and resources you will find.  I sooo wish I had known before my surgery.

Thanks for the additional information. So there was nothing to compare the recent film to which can be of some help. Of course in light of your age there would be no reason for you to have had a previous Mammogram UNLESS you have a family history of Breast Cancer. Sorry I can't offer any more except to say that it's a waiting game now until you complete the other tests. Please update us by adding to this thread when you get some results after your CTs and Mammogram/US. Kindest regards ....

I doubt that anyone here has had all these findings that you have stated here. I'm wondering how long it has been since your last Mammogram OR clinical breast exam. This all sounds rather complicated and blood tests wouldn't show many things that could cause these findings. Your answers will come after the upcoming scans .... it is also possible that the three things might not be related. Sorry I can't offer much except to tell you to wait as calmly as possible and be glad that you can have the testing done this soon. Best wishes .... please come back when you get your results if you have further concerns.
