Adriamycin - Mediport Leak

What results could occur from adriamycin leaking under the skin due to a problem with the mediport?

Hi.
Adriamycin/Doxorubicin is a vesicant.  Extravasation leads to severe ulceration and necrosis of the area.  First aid should be applied when extraasation occurs, like application of cold compress over the extravasated area.
