In August 2002 I had a
partialPartial (focal) seizure
Partial thromboplastin time (ptt)
Thyroid gland removal masectomy followed by four treatments of Adriamyclin/Cytoxan Chemo and
RadiationCystitis - noninfectious
Radiation therapy. In July 2003, I hurt my back and was treated with an injection which had me back on my feet within 48 hours. Since then, I started experiencing leg pain. I have had an MRI which only showed arthritis in my lower back. I have also had a very
painfulPainful menstrual periods nerveNerve biopsy
Nerve conduction velocity test up and down my right side that came back with good results. My PCP and Oncolgist both think its arthritis. My gut feeling tells me it is an after effect of the chemo. Prior to my cancer experience, I was able to run up and down the stairs. Now I am just too stiff to really move at all. Last week my PCP prescribed Nortrittlyn at 25 mg 1 times per day and Naprosene 2 times per day. This does seem to relieve some of the pain and stiffness. Any input would certainly be appreciated.
Thanks for your time!
