Any new treatments for er/pr heu2 neg metatstic BC

I am all the time reading about all the new great treatments coming available for ER/PR positive and HEU2 positive breast cancer. Is there anything new out there for ER/PR HEU2 negative breast cancer? I have BC mets and keep hoping for some new treatment, currently taking Xeloda (which is a good chemo drug)but I may have to stop taking it now because it seems to have stopped working. Now it looks like I'm back to the awful chemo drugs which cause terrible side effects, including hair loss!!! Do you know of any other treatments?

Dear pitcrew:  Chemotherapy may apply to all breast cancer at certain times in the disease process depending on the particulars of the situation.  When tumors are ER/PR positive, that indicates that drugs which block the hormone estrogen may be helpful.  Tumors that express the antigen HER2 may be effectively treated with herceptin.  If the ER/PR and HER2 are not present, then these types of treatments would not be effective.  All drugs have side effects, including the hormone therapy and herceptin.  Not all chemotherapy has terrible side effects and hair loss.  Hopefully, you and your doctor can discuss options based on the best chance for efficacy, keeping in mind the side effects if there is more than one choice.
