Arimidex and Eye Problems

I started taking Arimidex on 15th of May this year post chemo and bi-lateral mastectomy with clearance on one side.  I had an eye test in April and got my new glasses within a couple of weeks.  I could see perfectly.  Within a couple of weeks I was having blurred vision in one eye so on 9th June I went back to the optician to find that my sight had deteriated and I had slightly raised eye pressure but they could find nothing to cause any of the problems.  I saw the hospital consultant and he also could find nothing wrong apart from the pressure again.  Because I was feeling so awful on Arimidex, the usual aching, depression and extreme lethargy etc, I stopped it on 20th August and started to feel much better within a week and then I noticed my sight was better.  Back to the opticians yesterday (2nd Sept) and my sight has now gone back to my original prescription.
I saw a post from Louise414 in February and I was wondering whether she has sorted this out with her oncologist.  I am seeing mine on Monday and I'd be interested to compare notes on what they say.

I would suggest that you send "Louise414" either a private message or a note as she may not be monitoring the forum; that way she could supply the information you seek.
This isn't one of the symptoms that is listed as a side effect of Arimidex. It could be a result of one of the Chemo drugs as some have rather long lasting effects.   Good Luck .....
