Arimidex and Memory loss

Since my mother has been taking Arimidex for the past three months, her short term memory is almost totally gone. Has anyone had any experience with this or can you tell me where to go.  I feel helpless.  I will be making an appointment with her doctor after the holiday but I want someinformation because they tend to dismisher because she is 80.  This woman has always been as sharp as a tack.  Thank you.

Yes.  My wife has been taking it for three years and she is in her early 50's. She gets turned around in a familiar neighborhood and has to ask someone how to get home, rarely me.  Butit does get back to me.  She won't talk about it and insists that everything is alright.
