Asymmetry Mammogram

Asymmetry Mammogram

Hi, I am a soon to be a 30 yr old with a severe family of breast cancer. The women in my family that have had breast cancer (which is too many to count) get it at a young age and the outcome usually isn't to good. Earlier in the week I had a mamogram (mammogram) done and the outcome was Asymmetry. I know that the chance of it being cancer is really low, but I am still scared and nervous that it could be something. I wanted to see if someone had any additional info on this and what the outcome was for anyone who was diagnosed with this trype of mammogram. I go on Wed for a cone compression follow up. Thanks for your answers.

I had a mammogram done yesterday where it showed the right side of my right breast having dense tissue and no dense tissue on my left breast. I go for an ultrasound next friday. I honestly don't know what to think. I've looked up asymmetry on the web and there's good and not so good stuff out there. I'm just going to wait and try not to freak.
