BREAST CANCER WORRY

I have had an inverted nipple for as long as I can remember and when probed seems to have a little white discharge there. Recently I have been getting back ache, rib ache and just generally aches and pains. I had pain in this breast recently and now it feels really swollen and sore. I wonder if I have been touching it too much and this is the outcome. I am waiting to see a breast specialist. Can anyone please let me know what they think. My GP has prescribed a tablet to calm me down as I am stressed, anxious and cry frequently as I think it is Cancer. She has also given me ibrufen.

The inverted nipple wouldn't be of such concern since you indicate that this condition has been present for a long time. Without an examination it would be foolish to speculate as to the cause of your pain and swelling. You are doing the right thing by seeing a breast specialist and I'm sure you will have some answers soon. May I suggest that while you are waiting you might write down any questions that come to mind and take the list with you to your appointment.
