Benign cyst

Previously had a mammogram and ultrasound for a followup on a breast lump.  Calling it a benign cyst.  I have no family members with breast cancer but have 2 died of lung cancer, 2 of colon cancer, and I believe one with pancreatic cancer.  They just want to follow up again in 6 months.  I am not one to go for second opinions but am hearing from other family members to be very cautious.  What is your opinion.  Excuse all my spelling errors please!
Thanks.

Unless those family members are Physicians I would follow the recommendation to do a follow-up in 6 months. I see no reason to suspect that the lump is something other than noted by the Radiologist who viewed your films. Having the 6 months follow-up IS being cautious ... routine mamograms are done yearly. Regards ....
