Bi-Rads 3 Exam - wait 6 months?

Bi-Rads 3 Exam - wait 6 months?

I am 42 years old, one child and no family history of breast CA that I am aware of.
I recently had my first screening mammogram, which showed 2- 6mm nodular densities in the left breast, and 8mm circumscribed lesion of the right breast.  Also stated "asymmetry of the fibroglandular elements in the right breast."  I followed up with the breast ultrasound and compression views.  The report states; "multiple nodular densities in the upper outer aspect of both breasts.  Bilateral breast ultrasound shows innumerable cysts in both breasts.  They are too numerous to mention individually.  On the left there is a rather dominant cyst at 1 o'clock measuring 1.6 x 0.72 x 2.2cm.  There is one at 1:30 o'clock measuring 1.1 x 1.8 x 1.0cm.  No solid masses are seen.
The Impression states "At this point in time, I tend to think the findings are probably benign.  Recommend patient to return in 6 months for follow up mammogram and ultrasound (if needed).
Final Assessment: Bi-Rads 3 exam; probably benign.
*My concern and question is; should I get a second opinion and if yes, from who exactly? Another GYN or Radiologist or a Breast Specialist?  Should I wait 6 months?
Also to note I am not experiencing any pain or discomfort and find it difficult to even feel the cysts.  Your guidance is most appreciated.

Dear D3363:  A BIRAD 3 means that it is probably a benign finding, there is less than 2% chance of cancer. Usually receives a 6 month follow-up mammogram; most level 3 abnormalities do not receive biopsy.  Cysts are, by definition, benign.  They can be aspirated (to have the fluid removed) but this is not generally done unless there is uncertainty as to whether it is a cyst or it is causing discomfort.  If you are concerned, you could take your films and have them reviewed.  A breast specialist (most are located in large academic medical centers) would probably be able to give you the best insite.
