Bone Pain

by militarymom07, Sep 07, 2007 09:52PM
I had Stage 1 Breast cancer two years ago. Followed with 4 chemo treatments and 6 weeks radiation. Had my last mamogram (mammogram) three months ago. Last Jan I had 2 cat scans showing negative. (They thought they saw something on the liver). The tumors were benign. The oncologist wants me to have my stones and gall bladder removed as a precaution. Do you think it is necessary at this time. I really do not have much suffering outside of some heartburn. My second question: I still have some bone pain on and off since my chemo. Is that normal?

Thank you

the heartburn could be related to the gall bladder...if you are unsure, get a second opinion.

are you taking tamoxifen?  bone pain is a side effect of that.
