Breast Asymmetry

I am 18 years old and have breast asymetry.  My right breast is at least a cup size bigger than the left breast. It really bothers me and I was wondering if breast reduction surgury is a safe choice for me.  Since I started my period seven years ago I assume my breasts are done growing.  However, I am worried that when I become pregnant in several years that this may alter the size as well.  I also heard that birth control pills may help.  If I did want to have breast reduction surgury in the right breast how much would that cost and what would the risks be?

Dear Buttercup:  Breast asymmetry is entirely normal.  Many women experience dramatic differences in size as you have described.  Since this is a breast cancer forum, I am not qualified to answer your question in detail.  You might try looking for a forum on plastic and reconstructive surgery.  These specialists would be better qualified to answer your questions.
