Breast Cancer Chemo

I just completed four rounds of AC chemo and have to do 4 rounds of Taxol.  The doctor and nurses feel the Taxol will be easier on me physically.  Does anyone have this experience?  I am afraid they are setting me up for a dissapointment.

Dear marcosmom, Different chemotherapy regimens do have different side effects associated with them.  It is impossible to predict absolutely how an individual person will respond to a particular drug.  In general single agents might be better tolerated than combination chemotherapy.  If you'd like to learn more about the side effects of a particular chemotherapy check out the website www.chemocare.com.  You can find more information about specific chemotherapies, side effects, and side effect management.
