Breast Cancer after Reduction

I am 35 with no family history of breast cancer...however, I had a mastecomy in April 2006, for breast cancer discovered in my left breast. The was no sign in my lymphnodes.  I went thru 12 weeks (4 sessions) of chemo, in August it was decided that I would not need radition, in Sept 2006 I received a reduction on my right brest.  Now I have a lump in the right breast.  What is the chances of cancer appearing in the right breast after the treatment.

It could just be scar tissue. See the doctor soon.

Dear smiles35:  A personal history of breast cancer is a risk factor for developing a second breast cancer.  However, having had reduction surgery, there may be other anatomical changes in the breast (including scar tissue) that could feel like a lump.  It is important to follow up with your doctor and have the lump evaluated.  Without evaluation, we cannot speculate on what this might be.
