Breast Cancer?

Hey all.
I am 14 years old, high school freshman. Is this too young to get breast cancer? Cancer runs in my family.

So basically, my symptoms are as follows:
1) flaky/dry nipples. I know it sounds gross, but I was doing a breast-self examination and noticed my nipples were really dry and flaky in spots
2) this one is hard to describe. On my breasts, there are big purple veins (I think) that are raised from my skin and go from the nipple out in a sun effect. Like the veins go outward, but only on my breast not onto my stomach. This makes it hard to wear low cut tops in fear that if it rides down the lines will show
3) shooting chest pains. Yep, I know i'm young but I get shooting pains in my chest/lungs occassionally.
I'm kind of a freak like this, Im always thinking there is something wrong with me.  Please, is this cancer? Of any type!? Probably not, but you can never be too cautious, right?

First of all you should try to STOP thinking that there is something wrong all the time. The things you mention are quite natural ... the skin on the breast is the same as skin on any other part of the body so it may be just dry which would cause the flakiness you mention. The veins are also a natural thing .... sometimes they are more visible in a person than in others but they are there whether you can see them or not. Don't you think the chest pains you are experiencing might be due to the stress you are causing yourself by worrying about things so much. Of course this certainly is NOT likely to be cancer in any form .... maybe you should think about seeing your family Dr. and telling him/her about these things so that you can be re-assured that there is nothing seriously wrong with you. Of course it's a good thing to be vigilant but try not to overdo it at your young age as this may cause you more stress than necessary. 14 seems a little young to be doing such frequent breast exams as young breasts are often dense and can even feel "lumpy"; I doubt that you could actually determine what you were feeling thru this type of tissue. If you are going to do frequent self exams I hope that you have been taught by a professional the proper method in self breast examination. Take care now and stop worrying, OK ?
