Breast Cyst

I have had a cyst since 2008 in my left breast. It was noted on a routine mamo.  Ultrasound was done and radiologist findings were begnin cyst.
the following year 2nd mamo repeated and nothing was stated however,  even though there had been growth from the prior mamo , which was stated verbally to me while i was taking the 3rd mamo, taken 9 months later .  This was done due to a rather large lump I found  in the area, nothing prior was ever palpable.
Upon having a diagnostic mamo and ultrasound, the cyst had grown considerably.  The 3rd mamo and ultrasound showed debri in the cyst , echoing, and recommendation was to aspirate and examine fluid.  Upon having a breast surgeon exam, was fairly confident it was begnin, however an ultrasound guided  needle aspiration was recommended in case tissue biopsy necessary.  The radiolgist performed the procedure and seemed to have difficulty getting into the cyst all the way, he was successful and extracted a fairly large amount of cloudy fluid, the cyst(fluid) was not entirely extracted, because i could visibly see it on the ultrasound, and when i asked he said he didn't need to remove it all.  I questioned if the the fluid would return and he informed me it would not.  He did explain we were going to send the fluid for cytology exam that is was cloudier than most .  I am somewhat concerned even he told me not to lose sleep over this.  Is there any concern for leaving fluid in the cyst and not removing all of it?  What is the chance of the fluid containing any cancerous cells?  I have read quite a bit about this and all research seems to point in direction of low risk if fluid was clear or not cloudy. What are the chances of cloudy fluid being cancer. I am not confident this radiologist was thorough.  Any recommendation is appreciated.
thank you

Hi,
A complex cyst describes a lump that may contain thick fluid, or fluid that contains dead cells. An aspiration is usually recommended to make sure the cyst is not solid. In general, complex cysts are benign but require more evaluation to be sure that they are, in fact, cysts. So when an otherwise normal-appearing cyst has debris or looks cloudy, it's generally not something to get concerned about. The fluid extracted is the same as the fluid that was not aspirated and the sample taken will reveal if something is concerning or not.I would wait till the pathologist report is available and I wouldn't jump to any conclusion for now, because the cytology results could very well be favorable.
Best wishes....
