Breast Pain

by DEBBIE121857, Nov 05, 2009 08:28AM
I was recently treated for breast cancer in my left breast.  DCIS as well as invasive.  I finished treatment for chemo in August 2009, finished radiation last week.

My questions is, after I finished chemo, my Right breast started getting sore.  I checked with my dr. and she said it is probably a swollen gland.  I'm 11 weeks out from my chemo and I still have the problem.  Is this common, or should I insist on a ultra sound.

Radiation can also cause problems such as this .... I would ck. with your Oncologist about this if you are terribly worried. He/She would know best what may be the cause is this has persisted for so long. Congratulations on finishing your treatment ..... Regards ...
