Breast Pain

My girlfriend is experiencing breast pains on the side of one of her breasts, she saids this pain apperas when she touches this area on her side on the breast where she felt some little balls, so i'm wondering what it this? Is this cancer? She is 31 years old and she has two daughters, and several years ago she had some some balls of fat removed of different parts of her body may this be what is bothering her? or is this just some other thing?

I think I know what you mean.  I spoke to my GP ages ago about the ones I have, he seemed to think that they are normal.  I can't remember what he said they were now.  Glandular tissue??  I can't remember.
Is the tenderness associated with her menstrual cycle?  This can cause swollen and sore breasts.

If she has any concerns she should speak to her doctor.

These lumps could be any number of things and I would suggest that you urge your girlfriend to ck. with her Dr. for a clinical breast exam and possibly an Ultrasound. I would doubt breast cancer since there are multiple lumps but some investigation needs to be done. Lumps associated with breast cancer rarely cause any pain; cysts and benign tumors (Fibroadenomas) do cause discomjfort.  Please see that she has this ck.d out.   Regards .....
