Breast Pain

Im having sharp pain in my left breast and im not sure why. It has been happening for awhile and sometimes i can't move it hurts so bad.Its off and on through out the day and has been happening for awhile. Im only 21  i really don't think it's cancer. Also i haven't had a cycle in about 4 months im not pregnat i took a hpt and it was negative could this have something to do with the pain ? Is there some kind of breast exam i should do if so what am i feeling for ?

Breast pain is rarely associated with breast cancer ... this sounds more like some type of muscular involvement. I think you would be wise to see your Dr. for a clinical breast exam and some investigation into the cause of the pain. You might also ask the nurse about instruction for breast self exam for the future. I certainlyl wouldn't be thinking cancer from the symptoms you have described. Hormones could also be involved but I wouldn't think it would be only the one breast if that were the case.     Regards .....

i had pain and was told for 2 years it couldn't be breast cancer and they were watching my lumps. Go get it checked out. Could be lympnodes. Could be nothing. Wish I would have pushed for a biopsy before it spread.
