Breast Peeling

I am 31 years old. I had a baby 21 months ago. After having my baby I had problems nursing. I pumped for 4 moths and during that time my left breast got plugged twice (no infections, or thats what the dr. said). I had alot of pain, sensitivity, etc. And the pain cotinued but just right after my period. About six months ago I started feeling alot of pain before my period on my left breast again. Last month I went to see a dr. and she found a mass on it. They did ultrasound and did not found anything. But yesterday I was doing my monthly check up and I felt the mass myself. So I am going for another ultrasoud. I have my breast specialist app. next week. I noticed today that my nipple is peeling. My question is if I have had cacer since during my pregnancy it should have showed up in the rutine blood test? I read peeling is a sign of cancer. I am so scared. Help please!

Thank you so much. Also today I noticed 3 very little red spots on my left breast and one on my nipple (they are as small as the pointy part of a niddle). I am pretty sure they were not there before. I also have some more, 3 or 4  on my left arm, between my shoulder and my elbow. Can the ones on my breast be a result of the ultrasound? Maybe they were a little bit rough on my breast when doing it. I am so concerned because my left nipple looks diffrerent than the right one. It is almost flat and not as tall as the other one when it  is hard. I am concern about IBC as you  mentiones on your PP. They did not find any lump. My breast is not red and it does not feel hot. Any comments will be apreciated.

That actually means that your breast tissue is quite dense and this only makes it more difficult at times to catch very small abnormalities. Dense breast tissue is quite common in women of nearly any age. If you have a lump that can be felt then you have one but it may just be lumpy breast tissue that you are feeling.    Regards .....

I had my new ultrasound done yesterday They did not find any lump. They found an area that doesn't look very smooth it looks more like swiss cheese. They called it 'heterogeneous fibroglandular parenchyma'. Is that something I should worry about? My left breast is very painful and I noticed a little peeling. Thank you in advace.

First of all there is no blood test that will show the existance of cancer. Peeling isn't really a sign of breast cancer unless it were IBC which doesn't have the symptoms you describe (no lump). The nipple peeling may well be due to some of the breast feeding problems you had. A lump associated with breast cancer wouldn't come and go either. Keep that appointment but relax a little, OK ??   Regards ...
