I am 33 years old. I am married but have no children. One month ago my doctor found a lumpLumps in the breasts in my left breast. She believed it was Fibroadonema. I did ultrasound sonography sugessting Fibroadonema and sever fybrocystic changes.
There was no axiltry in my armpitArmpit lump. About 3 weeks ago I felt a very painfulPainful menstrual periods breast with a very sensetive nipple in the same breast. Then I had shingles on the same side and breast. The blisters went away but I still feel pain. sensetive nipple. I am very concerened if I have breast cancer. Pls advise me what to do?
I don't think that the lumpLumps in the breasts and the shingles are related since these two have different mechanisms. One way to settle if this lumpLumps in the breasts may be breast cancer or not is to undergo further work up and testing such as pursuing a biopsy procedure. However, it is very hard to justify a biopsy if your doctors and all the lab tests indicates a low suspicion for such.
The lingering pain from the shingles can really persist for months or even years. It is important to have yourself covered with adequate analgesic drugs.
I suggest you discuss with your doctor about a possible biopsy to settle things. Regards and God bless.
