Breast lump on 8 yr old

OMG, I just noticed the same thing with my daughter too last night when I was putting lotion on her. She said, mommy it hurts when you rub like that. When I felt it, I felt a lump on her right breast. It's swollen. I know she's too young to start forming breast. I'm worried so I made an appt for next week monday. I hope it's nothing too. What did you guys find out? Any follow up?

What your daughter has,is pretty common among teenagers,preteens and it's not unheard of that it can happen even in children younger than your daughter.
Nowadays, girls seem to be maturing at a very young age and because of hormonal changes in their bodies. these are the typical signs that can appear long before they start developing breasts.
It's a very good thing that you are taking you daughter to see the doctor on Monday.Please don't worry...I am sure that nothing is wrong with your little one,but having a doctor's opinion is always the best way to go.
