Hi, Im 27 and Im experiencing pains in my right breast, I cant really tell which specific part but I think it's on the side near my armpit,  and sometimes I also feel pain in my nipple,  I was thinking that the pain in my neck and shoulder is the cause, what should I do? do I need to go to the doctor?

Hi saljoy,

My apologies for the delay in responding. It is always better actually to start a new thread about your clinical features etc, it gets to be noticed earlier and also then, each individual is different!

Well, from what you describe i think you are have gastro-esophageal reflux disease and the pain is because of that.

What i would suggest is you try some antireflux and antinausea medications foe a few days - try the OTC ones and see if they help.

Try to avoid processed food, alcohol and smoking. Also avoid aerated drinks. Eat lots of freash fruits and vegetables. Have frequent small meals, and avoid fried, spicy foods.

Sleeping with your head end elevated will also help.

Do get back and let us know about your progress.
Hope this does help.
Good luck.

Hi.  I periodically experience breast pain especially around my menstral cycle.  I have a history of fibroid cysts and this is often the cause of my breast pain.  This could be one possibility for yours.

Hi,
Is there any relation of the pain to your menstrual cycle?
You could be having the pain due to a multiple causes including infection like mastitis or breast abscess or muscle pull or trauma to the site or due to hormonal fluctuations.
For how long have you been having the pains?
You could try some OTC pain relief medications, warm compresses, local analgesic creams and see if they help. If the pain still persists after a few days, you need to consult your physician for a clinical evaluation.
