It's normal for your breasts to swell during pregnancy, just like it's normal for your belly to swell during pregnancy. Your body is preparing for the baby, and feeding it as well. If you don't breast feed, the swelling will go down a few days after you give birth. otherwise, your breasts will stay engorged, or swollen, as long as you are breast feeding.
