Breast ultrasound

I want to ask about ultrasound findings of left breast

dilated duct filled with internal echoes at 3 oclock position.

no (focal or local)mass or lesion seen at 4 oclock.
(or benign) findings.

Between brackets i couldn't read it, it was not clear but i think it is as I wrote.

radoiologist doctor said that it is ok .

Do you think that I need more analysis and going to specialist doctor?or that it s enough?

I don't have any symptoms, and not complaining from anything else.

Hi again and you welcome.
Most often dilated milk ducts, simple cysts and fibroadenomas are benign in nature.
Even if dilated milk ducts and most breast lumps are often harmless, they should always be monitored, because it is important that there are no other findings such as calcifications that could represent a more serious problem.
Please stop worrying, because all looks fine now and you have nothing to worry about.Just keep your follow-up appointment okay?.
Take care...

Thank you very much for you reply.
when i read  some medical articals, i felt scare: "patients with a history of dilated ducts may require regular monitoring to assess the health of their breasts. Although dilated ducts are benign, or non-cancerous conditions, in some cases, recurrent breast lumps and duct abnormalities may be associated with a greater risk of developing breast cancer"

Is that true?

Hi,
As stated in your report, nothing suspicious was detected and the findings are benign ( No cancer) :)
Some ducts dilate in response to the hormonal changes in a woman's body and this is normal. Please don't worry,if something suspicious was detected on the Ultrasound, rest assured that the Radiologist would have recommended a biopsy.
Just have continuous follow up with your doctor/radiologist to make sure that there are no changes..
Best wishes...
