Brest distortion

I have noticed a small distortion on one of my breasts. It is noticeable when I lift my arms up and appears as a small indentation about an inch above my nipple. I am only 29 so i know the chances of breast cancer are slim and I do not want to waste my GP's time. Does anyone have any advice as to whether this could be a normal variant or is it a definite indication of a problem???

Hi,
When a dimple appears on the breast it does not always mean it's something bad, but I would advise you to have your breast checked out,because the formation of a lump can sometimes pull the skin into the breast causing the dimple.There are many benign lumps that can cause dimpling, but without evaluation, I cannot speculate on what this might be.
Please make an appointment to see your doctor,just to be on the safe side.
