Burning in breast

Hello, I am new to this site and have a question. I have been experiencing a very painful, burning sensation in an area of my breast, about 1/2 way between my arm pit and breast. I don't feel any lumps, per se. What I feel may be just tissue, etc. The pain/burn feels deep. Has anyone experienced this?

I have just had an ovary and cyst removed and am wondering if it is due to the surgery last week. Am seeing the Dr. for a follow to that and will ask him the same question but I've notice that the women on the ovarian site are so helpful that I thought I'd seek you out, as well.

Thank you and take care,
L

Hello!  I too have burning and slight discolored fluid coming from right breast.  I can't speak for anyone else, but fortunately my Dr. ordered a mammogram and ultrasound immediately following.  The radiologist said that he was sure I didn't have cancer just cysts.  I also have recently been diagnosed with acid reflux, so I figured the pain was a combination.  I am 36 and told to come back for a follow up mammogram at 40.  I hope this helps.  It always eases your mind if you can get it checked out for yourself.  If you are not insured ask your Dr. for programs that help with the cost of mammograms.

I too have had a burning sensation deep within my right breast in the same location, 1/2 way between the nipple and  armpit.  I am terrified since I have no medical insurance.  If there is anyone who can help put my fears to rest I would appreciate it.
