We also researched doctors in New York City. For a breast cancer surgeon, I have heard good things about Dr. Guth at NYU, and for a reconstructive surgeon, I have heard good things about Dr. Lloyd Gayle. Though I haven't heard any formal recommendation, Dr. Eleni Tousimis for breast cancer surgery, and Dr. Mia Talmor for reconstruction at Cornell seem to have excellent credentials to.
