Cancel chemo

Should I cancel my next Chemo, on Dec.16, the Port can not be placed until the week before Christmas.they will have to take my arm
vein again.

It looks like "the week before Christmas" would only be a few days to a week at most after the 16th, depending when during that week they could place the port.

But it would be best to discuss with your oncologist how s/he feels re delaying the next chemo tx, and how soon after the port is in they next chemo tx could be done.

ONLY your oncologist can tell you if chemo can be postponed for a few days or not.
You want to make sure about that and please don't cancel your appointment, but call your Oncologist first okay?

ok girls, I am getting my last vein stick on Dec 16, The port is schedule for
the 21st, and the 3rd treatment will be on the 30th, with the port in place, I gave up,!!.
I always stick to my guns! not on this case because my daughter threaten me with abandon,
I am in one of those big cities, I will have to be here at least 6 months.
It is Cold and people are unfriendly, very different of my hometown

Sounds like the best plan under the circumstances.  Hopefully, getting stuck one more time shouldn't make that much difference.

I am so sorry to hear you are not getting the support you need, to the point of even being threatened with abandonment! Do you have anyone besides your daughter you can turn to?

Where do you live now? Did you relocate there to be near your daughter?
