Cervical stenosis and dialation

I had a leep procedure done a year and a half ago and now my husband and I are going to do artificial insemination to get pregnant and I have been diagnosed with cervical stenosis and so my doctor wants to dialate me before I do the insemination so that the likely of becoming pregnant is greater. What does this procedure consist of and is it painful? Do people with this get pregnant?

Hi,
I'm just trying to help here.  I don't know why, but "kkase" had posted her original question on this breast cancer forum.  You could try to send a private message to kkase to ask her the question.  Or you could click on forums and find the Fertility one and ask your question there.  Good Luck!
