Chemotherapy § Lymph Nodes

Thank you again for this wonderful site.
I've had my first cycle of chemo, before surgery and my question is:
It seems logical that given the strong effects of chemo that lymph nodes may have a temporary reaction while doing their job, such as become swollen.  Can you tell me if this is sometimes the case?  I have called my doctor's office, but may be awhile before i get an answer.  thanks.

Dear Dee, Lymph nodes can fluctuate in size in response for example to infection, however lymph node swelling is not a usual response to chemotherapy.
