Complications with Swelling after Biopsy w/ Pre-op Needle Placement

I did not have an easy time of it.  I had nausea and vomiting after the procedure which continued all day but worse than that 2 days after surgery I woke with a really swollen and hard breast.  I called the doctor's office and went in but my doctor was not there but I saw the covering doctor.  She said it was fine.  She said it didn't look like I had an infrection but if I had any bleeding to go to the Emergency Room,  Now we are 3 days out and I am in alot of pain and Tylenol and Ibuprofen aren't doing a thing for me.  Also, the weigtht of the breast and the swelling is really bad.   My left arm is even numbing.  HELP!!!!

I would also suggest that you go to the Emergency Room or Urgent Care Facility. If you can contact the Dr. who did your biopsy that would be preferable; if not then by all means go to the ER. You shouldn't be having this much trouble following the biopsy.    Regards ....
