Core biopsy scheduled

I am scheduled for core needle biopsy with ultrasound next week. Routine GYN exam found nodule, I had not felt until doctor pointed this one out as I have had two prior surgical biopsies on same breast > 10 years ago and scar tissue sometimes makes self exam difficult in a couple areas.  Sent for diagnostic mammogram and ultrasound.  

Mammogram findings: Dense fibroglandular tissue with developing oval, border-forming density along 12 o'clock position of the right breast correlating with area of palpable concern, not present in prior studies. No other suspicious masses, calcifications present.

Ultrasound shows 11mm, well-defined, predominantly homogeneous oval nodule along 12 o'clock position correlating with area of palpable concern.  Conclusion: Suspicious. Developing solid nodule. While lesion does have favorable sonographic characteristics, it is solid, new (last mammogram 1 year 4 months) and palpable and ultrasound guided core biopsy for definitive pathology recommended.  BI-RADS 4 for suspicious abnormality.  

Question is if sonography appears favorable characteristics and no other disparity other than that it is new, solid and palpable, trying to resolve my stress over whether it will be normal as the surgical biopsies proved years ago or if this is something to be concerned about? Findings don't mention anything irregular about borders.  I am 54 and in good health.  Breast cancer/mother and paternal grandmother >40 years ago.  Realize it is something I need to do and just be patient with results, however, that in itself is a challenge.
