Couple of Questions??

Couple of Questions??

Hello.  I am 23 years old and I have a question.  I have read that it is alright if your breasts are two different sizes (my left is a 36c and my right is a 36d)  Should I have them checked anyway?  I can't really tell what are normal bumps or not, although I usually compare one breast to another.  Also I have had this pain---a soreness under my right armpit.  At times it hurts down the right side of my right breast, and at other times, the soreness is more centralized over the top of my right breast(kinda by my collarbone) Im thinking that I just pulled a muscle, but I also just wanted to ask.  And finally, mostly on my right breast, which is the bigger one, you can really see the veins, is this ok?

thank you-

Dear Meggie79, It is very common and normal for women to have 2 different sized breasts. It is also common that veins can be seen in the breast.  Breast cancers are not usually painful.  Having said the above it may be a good idea to review your self breast exam with a health care professional.  This way you can discuss these issues and perhaps have more confidence in terms of your exams.  Being familiar with your personal breast characteristics can help you in terms of finding a change that you may want to get checked out.
