Crazy itching...any ideas?

I have another post on here titled " confused on Mri findings" so I have not have my biopsy yet but in the last week my chest had been driving me crazy with itchiness.. thier is no redness  no dumpling or pitting  or hot areas. My actual breast don't itch it's the area around like in between and under and my nipple also itches but thier is no fluid or scaling but they do flake with skin I guess I would say. I have not changed soap or laundry soap at all....so what do ya think is this something I should be concerned with or and I crazy and it's all in my head.

Hi,
There are many types of dermatitis (skin inflammation) that can appear anywhere on the skin, including the chest, nipples and areolas.
If you haven't noticed any abnormal features like skin changes, inverted nipple, a sores that won't heal, then it could very well be just a skin problem. Allergic reaction to food, narcotic pain medications, eczema, fungal infection or just dry skin, could cause rashes or widespread itching.
You could consult a dermatologist who can take a look and make appropriate treatment recommendations. In the meantime you can apply Calamine lotion and take an Antihistamine to help relieve your symptoms. Also you should avoid scratching your skin because it can intensify the itchiness.
Take care...
