DCIS Too large to radiate?

DCIS Too large to radiate?

I had a lumpectomy dx:DCIS, High Nuclear grade with necrosis and calcifications.  Tumor was present in 4 out of 11 slides.  ER-/PR-.  5.5x5x1.6 cm
I then had a partial mastectomy the margins were clear 1.2 cm
I will now have 33 radiation treatments.  I was wondering if 5.5 x5cm was too large an area to radiate?  Do you think this was the right course of treatment considering the size/nuclear grade/receptor -?
