I had similar questions when I went in for my mastectomy only I had tissue expander reconstruction.  The hospital only wanted you to wear their gowns, so the only thing clothes wise that you have to worry about is the clothes you go home in, a pair of slippers, and your personals.  My friend gave me a little soft pillow when I came home that has been a lifesaver, I kept it under my arm right after surgery, it has become my little "security blanket" now.  I found warm up suits were great after surgery because you could hide the drains in the insides of the pockets of the jacket and you really didn't have to wear a shirt underneath if you didn't want to.  I did find the little cami shirts worked very well after I got my drains out.  You could step into them and not have to lift your arms over your head, and so many of them have the little bralets in them that will provide some support. Good luck with your surgery.  It was not nearly as bad as I imagined.

Warmest Regards,
Sue
