Definitions

what does irregularly shaped hypoechoic mass demonstrating posterior acoustic shadowing....but biopsy came back benign....

My post was not directed to you.  This person has been all over Medhelp.  Very strange.  Medhelp has been deleting her posts.  Sorry to but in on your question.  Just trying to protect people from things that could hurt you....Cindy

Again your post didn't show up next to the question or on your profile.  What is the deal here?  I agree, God is so good. I don't know you but you sound like you are a good person too.  God does not hide.  I don't understand how you are doing this?  Hiding posts.  I'm not against alternative treatments but just like chemotherapy...some chemos work for their cancer and some don't.  Besides your advise what proven data do you have besides testimonies from people who may be hiding just like you.  Please give us cancer patients sound proven advise.  Cindy

Hi.

I suggest you don't trouble yourself much with these technical descriptions.  All these means is that there is indeed a mass in your breast that is clearly distinct from the surrounding normal breast tissues.  The important thing is that the biopsy showed that this is benign.  These are indeed common breast findings, and the cause for these are commonly benign such as fibroadenoma or fibrocystic breast disease.

However, I would suggest that you continue to follow up with your doctor to monitor any more changes in your breast.
